The Junior Miss Strawberry Pageant will be held Thursday - May 9 - time to be announced.

Festival dates are Friday May 10th and Saturday May 11th.

Friday:

Festival opens at 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

5:00 - Opening Ceremonies with Charles Paparella & Mt. Olive String Band

5:00 - 9:00 Strawberry Strut Run/Walk & Bike Ride registration at Info Tent

5:30 - Little Miss & Mr. Strawberry Pageant

6:30 - 8:30- Rukie Dize & Dark Gold Jazz

 Saturday:

Festival opens at 9:oo am to 4:00 pm

8:00 -8:30 - Strawberry Strut Run/Walk & Bike Ride registration at Info Tent

8:30 - Scenic Bike Ride Starts in front of Blue Heron Junction

9:00- Festival opens

             Strawberry Strut Run/Walk  starts in front of Blue Heron Junction

10-10:30 - John Wesley  United Methodist Men

10-3 -  Children's Activities

10:30- Race/Walk Winners' Presentations

11-1 -Brooks Baylis Band

12- 1 Tug-O-War with all Somerset County Fire Departments

1- 1:30 - Parade

1:30  - Parade Awards Presentation

2-3:30 - Brooks Baylis Band

May 4th and 5th Weekend

Even though it was windy and cool, it was a great weekend on Delmarva.  Spring fest was packed and I understand there was a good turnout at the Pig And A Jig BBQ Festival near Snow Hill.
